Octavius Catto's Grave
Grave of Octavius Catto (1839-1871). Octavius Catto was an educator, intellectual, and civil rights activist in Philadelphia. He became principal of male students at the Institute for Colored Youth, where he had also been educated. He also was known as a top 19th-century cricket and baseball player.
